We are an artisan bakery based in East Belfast. We specialise in viennoiserie pastries & sourdough



We are built around the ethos of Fera - wild, beast. Everything we make contains wild yeast known as a sourdough culture, or is wild by design; unrestrained and exciting. When our sourdough culture was started back in 2012 it was named Beastie.
All of our pastries are hand made following a three day process to enhance flavour and texture. Our menu changes with the seasons and with what our bakers are inspired by. You will always find some of our classics on our counter such as our croissant, custard tarts and cinnamon buns.
Our breads are made using natural ingredients; flour, water, salt and sourdough culture. We follow a slow fermentation process to give optimal flavour and character.

Stephen Chisholm
FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE BAKER
From a young age, Stephen’s culinary curiosity boomed, propelling him to winning the first Great Irish Bake Off in 2013. Since then his skillset has grown through working in bakeries all across the globe.

Zoe Tostevin
HEAD BAKER
Not sure what you want to do when you’re older? Do a Zoe; message a bakery on a whim looking for a job, turn up with samples of your bakes and go from there! With a degree in art, Zoe’s creativity is evident in her bakery work and if you’re a fan of our social media uploads you have her to thank.

Peter Shiels
BAKER
Always one to bring a smile to the team’s face, sometimes on purpose but mostly not, Peter has developed some fantastic skills since he joined the team. Outside of the bakery he somehow still finds time to work a few evenings as a chef and raise a young family.
